Several additions have been made including the two essays present in the old site. If you have any writings you have done concerning the Silmarillion or related topics then please consider sending them in to be included on that page.

The site was down for approximately 24 hours over the weekend while it was moved from one server to another. Hopefully this server move will clear up several of issues that have been experienced. If you tried to send email or submit a contact form during that time please do so again as our ability to receive email during that period was also effected.

I felt that it was time to show a little support for the cadidate of my choice, so I added a link to the Gore-Lieberman 2000 campaign on the Splash Screen of the site. Citizens of other countries need not pay attention.

Two new sections added to 'Account of the Valar' area to create a greater amount of community interactivity. New features are 'Message Board' and 'Online Communities Links'. Both can be reached from the 'Account' area and from the site map.

Added 'Tolkien Miscellany' section to draw together the disparate pieces of the site including the Random Quotes and Featured Sites. Also linked from here is the newly created 'Tolkien Webmaster's Discussion Forum'.

Created 'Tolkien Webmasters' Discussion Forum' on Topica as a means for Tolkien Webmasters to communicate with one another concerning the varying issues of designing a Tolkien focused site.

Added the Valaquenta and Silmarillion Discussion Area to the 'Account of the Valar' section of the site. This feature is powered by a robust cgi suite and allows for multiple threads within multiple discussions, searchable indexes, and user profile creation.
